Business Analyst

Summary :

Conducts basic operational analyses that supports informed decision making within the business unit, under the direction of a Sr. Bus. Analyst, Bus. Analyst I or immediate supervisor with mentoring and guidance.

Key responsibilities include small to medium special projects, quantitative and qualitative research, process design and modification, and report development. Applies standardized tools and techniques. 1 year related experience preferred. Bachelor's degree a plus.

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Business Analyst with a strong background in electrical engineering to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess advanced proficiency in Excel, exceptional data analysis skills, and a knack for time management and organizational tools.

Key Responsibilities :

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including engineering, finance, and operations, to identify business needs and develop data-driven solutions.
• Analyze and interpret complex data sets related to energy production, distribution, and consumption.
• Utilize advanced Excel techniques (e.g., pivot tables, VLOOKUP, macros) for data manipulation, analysis, and visualization.
• Develop and maintain comprehensive reports, dashboards, and presentations to communicate findings and recommendations to stakeholders.
• Conduct root cause analysis to identify issues and opportunities for process optimization and cost reduction.
• Design and implement data models and analytical frameworks to support strategic decision-making.
• Use time management and organizational tools like MS Project, Jira, or Trello to manage project timelines, track progress, and ensure deadlines are met.
• Ensure data integrity, accuracy, and consistency across all analyses and reports.
• Provide technical support and training to team members on data analysis tools and techniques.
• Stay updated on industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies to continually enhance analytical capabilities.
