Insights & Strategy Senior Associate / Junior Manager

Salary Range - $130,000 - $150,000

Youll bring best practice and unique perspective, run bespoke survey and expert interview studies, and craft data-driven narratives that guide C-suite decisions and investor strategies.

Azurite Consulting is a boutique primary research consultancy led by former McKinsey and Bain consultants. We work with leading private equity firms, hedge funds, and global corporations to uncover the market signals that matterand turn them into actionable strategies.

This is a hybrid role with the expectation to be in the Jersey City office 2-3 days per week to collaborate and work side-by-side with the team and help mentor junior team members.

About the Role

The core responsibilities of the role include, but are not limited to :

Lead end-to-end research engagements , from scoping and research design to analysis and client delivery

Design and execute custom surveys and expert interviews , ensuring methodological rigor and top-tier data quality

Analyze qualitative and quantitative data to surface trends and distill actionable insights

Build compelling , story-led deliverables that influence senior decision-makers

Serve as the primary client point of contact , managing relationships and expectations

Present insights and recommendations directly to senior client stakeholders, including C-suite and investment leadership

Mentor and manage junior team members to support high-quality execution and professional development

Contribute to evolving Azurites product offerings and thought leadership alongside senior leadership

Required Qualifications, Knowledge, and Skills :

35 years of experience in a top-tier management consulting firm or an equivalent role requiring structured problem-solving, executive communication, and analytical rigor

Proven ability to structure, analyze, and synthesize data into meaningful business insights

Strong storytelling skills to craft strategic narratives and communicate clearly to executive audiences

Experience managing projects with tight timelines and high-quality standards

Experience mentoring and coaching team members (directly or indirectly) and working across levels

Agile mindsetcomfortable operating under ambiguity in an environment that evolves quickly

Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint

A big plus but not required : Experience in survey design, experience with Python or other similar programming language
