Sr. Area Rotating Machinery Engineer

Job Summary :

Messer owns and operates a large portfolio of industrial gas plants, including ASU, CO2, H2, He, as well as on-site plants, spread across the globe serving customers within a wide range of industries. Rotating machinery is a key component required for operation of these industrial gas plants. This position will report to the Area Maintenance and Reliability Hub Team, supporting the Area Operations Teams, providing technical engineering support and SME recommendations for all rotating machinery and mechanical equipment utilized within the facilities in the area.

Principal Responsibilities :

• Provides technical support, troubleshooting, and maintenance support to Area Plant Management, and Technicians for all rotating equipment applications including compressors, pumps, fans, gearboxes, and their auxiliary systems.
• Directly supports Area Maintenance Strategy development and execution thru machinery scope development for major maintenance planning and execution (typically >

=$250K - $2M each event). Ensures that the machinery aspects of the major maintenance plan are kept updated for assigned plant locations.
