Medical Assistant

A Medical Assistant position is now available through Adecco Healthcare and Life Science. In this role, you will perform a variety of administrative and clinical tasks assigned to support effective office operations. Implement patient experience techniques in all patient interactions, in-person, telephone and telehealth visits. This is per diem role. The starting pay rate is $23.00 / hr. depending on your level of experience.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Advises patients regarding preparation of necessary forms, counsel patients regarding paperwork requirements.
• Obtains pre-certification and / or prior authorization from insurance companies for patient management as assigned.
• Handles physician and professional staff EMR and other correspondence to physicians, patients, and other providers.
• Monitors patient flow and communicates with any issues or problems that arise with the clinical staff; seeks assistance from clinical staff when communication back to the waiting room is needed.
• Performs any online functions, in the clinical or financial systems, as the technology and processes evolve.

Required Qualifications / Skill

Needs to have minimum of 6 months of work experience Certified Medical Assistant.
