CFO - Defense - Finance This is a direct-hire corporate CFO opportunity with a well-established company entrenched in the defense research and manufacturing space.

The Chief Financial Officer (CFO) provides strategic leadership and financial management for the US organization. The CFO is a key member of the senior leadership team and is responsible for all aspects of the accounting and financial planning and analysis cycle.

They also lead continuous improvement initiatives to drive best : -Provide strategic financial leadership and direction to ensure long-term financial well-being and growth.

• Oversee all aspects of the finance and accounting functions.-Ensure the accuracy of financial analysis, budgets, and forecasts.
• Manage cash flow, budgeting, and financial reporting.-Oversee budget creation, including cash flow and financial projections.
• Serve on the board of directors and executive committee.-Set financial targets and monitor performance.-Leads the finance team directly.
• Provides dotted line leadership to , and prepare financial reporting packages.-Collaborate with business and executive teams.
• Inform the board of directors on financial matters.-Manage corporate insurance policies and brokers.-Interface with internal and external auditors, and banking providers.
• Lead the annual business planning process.-Ensure adequate cash management.-Manage tax strategy and compliance.-Oversee the employee retirement plan.
• Ensure compliance with accounting standards, tax regulations, and other regulations.-Lead continuous improvement projects for the finance team.
• Facilitate process improvement initiatives..Experience and Education : -Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or related field required.
• Master's degree preferred.-15+ years of finance -10+ years of management -Experience in government contracting required;

experience in defense manufacturing environment strong preferred. -Experience in mergers and acquisitions preferred.-Continuous improvement mantra and / or experience required.
