Job Description

The Industrial Engineer is responsible for designing systems that integrate equipment, information, infrastructure, material flow, and people in production processes. The Industrial Engineer is also responsible for analyzing and improving upon existing manufacturing processes such as OEE, scrap, and line balancing.

Responsibilities

• Complete monthly cycle time studies for all products.
• Use mathematical calculations / statistical methods to determine ideal process and staffing requirements.
• Develop the most efficient ways to use people, machines, and materials to produce a product and increase productivity.
• Develop and determine the most efficient plant layouts for existing and new equipment.
• Utilize Lean tools (5S, Kaizen, etc.) to implement Lean Material Flow.
• Work with Accounting, Purchasing, and Management with project planning, purchases, and project status.
