Investment Management Associate Attorney – Seattle

Direct Counsel is seeking an Investment Management Associate Attorney to join a highly respected, full-service firm in Seattle.

This position offers the opportunity to work alongside an experienced and collaborative team representing many of the country’s largest and most well-established institutional investors—including pension funds, endowments, and family offices—on sophisticated investment transactions.

About the Role :

The ideal candidate will have at least two years of experience working with institutional investors or in related transactional work. This role involves advising clients on traditional and alternative investments, negotiating fund terms, and managing complex deal documentation. You’ll work closely with colleagues across multiple practice areas and gain valuable exposure to a broad range of investment vehicles and fund structures.

What You’ll Bring :

Minimum of 2 years of investment management, fund formation, or transactional experience

JD from an ABA-accredited law school and active bar membership

Strong academic credentials and writing skills

Excellent attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously

A client service mindset and ability to work both independently and as part of a team

Compensation & Benefits :

Salary range : $190,000 – $225,000, commensurate with experience
