Job Description

American Traveler is seeking a Cath Lab / IR Technologist with at least 18 months of experience and current ARRT R, BLS, and ACLS certification.

Responsibilities

  • Position is a dual role in a hybrid Cath Lab and Interventional Radiology (IR) setting
  • Short-term acute care hospital environment
  • Work schedule is typically day shifts, four 10-hour shifts from around 6 : 30-7 : 00 AM to 5 : 30 PM
  • Every third weekend coverage is required
  • Rotating after-hours on-call shifts required, with 10 call shifts per month in Cath Lab and Hybrid OR
  • Cerner EMR system is used and prior experience is required
  • Applicants must float within the hospital or to nearby affiliate hospitals as needed
  • First-time travelers are welcome to apply
  • Candidates must work two of the three major holidays during the contract
  • Auto-approval of up to five days of requested time off
  • Returning permanent or PRN employees must have a 12-month break in service before applying as a traveler
  • Free parking is available on-site
  • All scrubs or uniform information should be confirmed upon assignment

    • Requirements

  • Minimum 18 months to 2 years of experience as a Cath Lab and IR Technologist
  • Current unrestricted ARRT R, BLS, and ACLS required
  • Demonstrated IR skills in addition to Cath Lab required for consideration
  • Degree from a nursing or allied health program accredited by ACEN or CCNE at time of graduation
  • Indiana or Compact state license required and must be in hand at the time of submission; License required if applicable
  • Experience with Cerner EMR required
