Position Overview :
We're seeking to identify the strongest leaders from the Pharmaceutical industry (broadly) in consideration for a Chief Executive Officer position with one of our Private Equity Partners.
The portfolio company is poised for strategic growth and transformation. As CEO, you will play a pivotal role in driving the strategic direction, growth, and transformation of the company, working closely with our PE partner to maximise value creation and drive the business towards an exit or IPO in the years ahead.
Key Responsibilities :
- Provide visionary leadership to drive the strategic direction and execution of the company's business plan.
- Use technical acumen to strategies the innovation and growth of the R&D pipeline & products.
- Develop and implement growth strategies to capitalise on market opportunities and expand market share.
- Lead the transformation of the company, optimizing operational efficiency and driving innovation across all functions.
- Foster a culture of excellence, collaboration, and accountability to achieve organizational goals and objectives.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including investors, customers, partners, and regulatory agencies.
- Ensure compliance with industry regulations and standards, maintaining the highest level of integrity and ethical conduct.
Requirements and Qualifications :
- Previous P&L management experience, demonstrating the ability to drive financial performance and create value for the company.
- Proven track record of successfully growing a mito large scale Pharmaceutical organisation.
- Experience in IPO'ing a company is beneficial, showcasing the ability to navigate complex financial transactions and capitalise on market opportunities.
- Previous experience of leading large headcount and P&Ls.
- Strong technical acumen and ability to build and develop an R&D pipeline.
- Strong external stakeholder management and comfortable in presenting to investors and customers.
- Requirement for a well-rounded CEO coming from the typical Finance, Operations and Commercial background.
- Proven track record of transforming and turning around organisations, with the ability to identify and capitalise on operational efficiencies and growth opportunities.
