Responsibilities & Expectations :

This position is responsible for performing highly diversified duties to modify, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain electrical equipment and components at our Southland Electrical Supply facility in Burlington, NC.

• Provide repairs of circuit boards and other components for power equipment including circuit breakers and VFDs
• Read and interpret equipment manuals, SDS, safety materials, system drawings, diagrams, schematics and work orders to perform required maintenance and service
• Diagnose problems, replace or repair parts, test and make adjustments
• Use a variety of hand and power tools including electric meters, electrical test equipment including oscilloscope and material handling equipment
• Detect faulty operations, defective material and report those and any unusual situations to proper supervision
• Provide drawings for circuit boards and relays as needed
• Comply with safety regulations and maintain clean and orderly work areas
• Some field service work as needed
