Job Description:


We are seeking a Quality Assurance Engineer with strong hands-on experience in automation testing frameworks such as Playwright, Selenium (TestNG), or Cypress. The ideal candidate will design and maintain end-to-end test automation scripts, ensure regression and performance coverage, and contribute to continuous quality improvements across applications.


This role requires deep technical expertise in JavaScript or Java, solid understanding of web services testing, and familiarity with SQL/NoSQL databases. The candidate must be a collaborative team player with strong problem-solving and debugging skills, capable of driving automation excellence and innovation end-to-end.


Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain end-to-end (E2E) automation frameworks and test scripts using Playwright, Selenium (TestNG), or Cypress.
  
  
• Identify and prioritize test cases for automation to ensure maximum coverage of business-critical functionalities.
  
  
• Conduct regression and performance testing, ensuring quality and stability across releases.
  
  
• Debug, analyze, and resolve automation test failures, ensuring reliable and repeatable test results.
  
  
• Collaborate with developers, QA, and product teams to define test strategies and ensure integration into CI/CD pipelines.
  
  
• Drive innovation by optimizing automation frameworks, tools, and methodologies.
  
  
• Perform web services/API testing using tools like Rest Assured or equivalent.
  
  
• Execute database validations using SQL and NoSQL queries.
  
  
• Utilize Git and GitHub for source control and automation framework management.
  
  
• Communicate effectively across teams to ensure test coverage, risk mitigation, and timely issue resolution.
  
  

Required Skills:

• 5+ years of experience in QA Automation Engineering with regression and performance testing.
  
  
• Strong hands-on experience with Playwright, Selenium (TestNG), or Cypress.
  
  
• Proficiency in JavaScript, Java, or TypeScript.
  
  
• Experience with web services/API testing; familiarity with Rest Assured preferred.
  
  
• Strong knowledge of SQL and NoSQL databases.
  
  
• Proficiency in using Git and GitHub for version control and automation repository management.
  
  
• Excellent analytical, debugging, and problem-solving skills.
  
  
• Strong collaboration and communication skills with cross-functional teams.
  
  

Preferred Skills:

• Experience integrating automation with CI/CD pipelines (e.g., Jenkins, GitHub Actions).
  
  
• Knowledge of cloud-based testing environments and containerization (Docker/Kubernetes).
  
  
• Familiarity with performance testing tools such as JMeter or Gatling.
  
  
• Exposure to Agile/Scrum development methodologies.
