Position Summary
This role will be scheduled Monday through Friday, flexible day hours. The Administrative Assistant II provides proactive and proficient administrative support and operation of the designated department and/or Director and management within the designated department by performing a variety of administrative tasks, such as:
*answering telephones
*greeting and directing visitors
*maintaining and scheduling appointment calendars
*handling various forms of mail ( paper, email, overnight express, fax)
*ordering office supplies and furnishings
*arranging for equipment repairs
*maintaining filing systems and/or computerized record keeping systems and/or databases
*completing standardized forms
*handle all confidential correspondence and inter-department communications
*attend meetings and take minutes
*compose correspondence on behalf of the Director supported
*provide on-boarding support, as needed
*perform other duties, as assigned
