What to Expect (Job Responsibilities)
Own the end-to-end development of forest carbon projects, ensuring alignment with carbon registry protocols and business objectivesDevelop and execute project delivery plans, identifying critical pathways and providing strategic inputLead cross-functional teams to deliver key milestones across project phasesManage project budgets, financial modeling, and stakeholder communicationsConduct feasibility assessments and leverage advanced data analytics for project developmentWhat is Required (Qualifications)
Bachelor’s degree in Forestry, Natural Resources, Environmental Science, or a related field; Master’s degree preferredMinimum of four (4) years of applicable experience in forestry or forest carbon project developmentProven track record in project management, including financial oversight and stakeholder engagementDeep familiarity with carbon methodologies, particularly improved forest management and afforestationDemonstrated expertise in geospatial analysis using tools such as ArcGIS or QGISHow to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications)
