Quality Assurance Analyst

Seeking a talented individual who is passionate about using their analysis skills to understand complex systems and their quality assurance skills to ensure proven solutions for the business.

As part of our team, you will work together with our delivery teams to translate the business needs into testing requirements, playing an instrumental role in increasing the ongoing quality and stability of the team's work product.

What you'll do :

• Participate in test planning and execution, including functional, integration and regression testing.
• Work with developers to troubleshoot and resolve issues
• Develop, coordinate and execute test plans, working with the business to ensure appropriate test coverage
• Conduct root cause analysis for defects or other quality failures.

Requirements

So here's what we're looking for. First and foremost, we believe that what distinguishes a great team member from a merely adequate one is dedication to results, an ability to learn and adapt quickly, and professional integrity and humility - not specific technical skills.

But, of course, you'll need those too.

Ideally, you would have a 4-year degree and 3 plus years of experience where you've demonstrated the following :

• Experience building and executing test plans
• Experience with relational databases and basic query concepts
• Understanding of basic web technologies and tools (HTML, XML, REST etc.)
• Experience developing user requirements and acceptance criteria
• Experience with test automation technologies is a plus
• Experience with Azure Test Plans is a plus.
• Experience working in agile development environments - SCRUM and Kanban preferred
• Ability to solve a broad range of problems using a wide array of technologies
• Self-motivation and eagerness to learn
• Ability to balance multiple concurrent tasks and projects, and adapt to varying priorities
• Professional and open-minded attitude
• Strong communication and documentation skills
