Pay / Schedule :
On-site Monday-FridaySalary $80,000-$110,000Essential Duties and Responsibilities :
Design and engineering of custom displays based on design rendering conceptsAbility to reverse engineer displays and ability to reduce costs based on value engineering ideas and conceptsSupervise prototype developmentCreate technical quote drawings & production documents & bills of materialsInterface with account executives, designers, estimators, production staff & outside vendorsParticipate in regularly scheduled department meetings to report on project status, prepare then give design presentationsDesign methods for testing product capabilities and troubleshooting mechanical or structural flawsInvolvement in manufacturing processes to ensure quality workmanshipPerform related duties as assigned by supervisorMaintain compliance with all company policies and proceduresLight travel within the US and out of countryMulti-taskingOnsite work attendance is a requirementQualifications :
Mechanical Engineering background and understanding of engineering principles3+ years of experience in point of purchase display manufacturingKnowledge of materials and manufacturing processes used in construction of permanent displays & fixturesProficient in SolidWorks 2020 or later versionAbility to efficiently create accurate engineering drawings for domestic and overseas manufacturingStrong analytical and problem-solving skillsAbility to research materials & ProcessesKnowledge of basic measuring tools, tape measure, calipers, etc.Experience in sheet metal, metal tubing; wire forming and fabrication, plastics, vacuum forming, injection molding and wood manufacturing, welding methodologies is a plusExperience integrating electronics into displays is a plus, e.g., LED lighting, LCD integration and soundGood written & verbal communication skillsAbility to work independently or in a team environmentPreferred qualification :
Bachelor's degree (or equivalent work experience) in mechanical engineeringOpportunities for Growth :
