What You'll Do
As a key leader in our engineering division, you will :
Manage Mechanical / Plumbing / Fire Protection (MP / FP) projects from concept to completion—on time, on budget, and beyond expectations.
Guide and grow a talented team of engineers, fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation, and continuous learning.
Design and analyze complex mechanical systems including HVAC, boilers, chillers, and piping with precision and creativity.
Perform detailed heating / cooling load calculations and ensure the production of high-quality construction documents, drawings, and specifications.
Engage in design coordination meetings and work closely with clients, architects, and contractors to bring visions to life.
Conduct site visits, field measurements, inspections, and support commissioning activities.
Contribute to business development efforts by responding to RFQs and participating in project interviews.
Supervise team performance and ensure compliance with company policies and industry best practices.
What You Bring
Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
15+ years in mechanical engineering (consulting firm experience preferred)
7+ years in project management
Proven leadership and mentoring capabilities
Deep knowledge of HVAC, boilers, chillers, piping, and energy recovery systems
Familiarity with ASHRAE standards, building / mechanical / energy codes, and medical gas systems (a plus)
Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, HAP, and Bluebeam
Active Professional Engineer (P.E.) license required
