Surgery - General Physician Assistant

Calling all experienced Cardiothoracic Surgery Physician Assistants! Our team is seeking Full Time coverage in Upstate South Carolina! Incumbents must be able to harvest veins and first assist surgeons on all open-heart cases, suturing, and pre / post op surgical care. Start Date : January 2026

Assignment Length : 3-6 months to start (with potential to extend)

Schedule details :

Monday-Friday (6am-2pm)

Call : 5% on weekdays, 75% weekends (ER Call primarily)

Office / Clinic = 10%, Hospital = 90%

Daily Caseload : 10 patients per day 5 Admissions, 5 ICU, 4 Surgeries

Qualifications :

Active Board Certification - Required

Active South Carolina State Licensure Preferred

Active DEA Required

Active ACLS Required

Minimum two (2) years of experience in Cardiothoracic Surgery, including EVH and first assist experience
