Telecom Accounts Payable Manager
Under administrative direction, serves as the Telecom Accounts Payable Manager for the Department of Innovation & Technology (DoIT) managing, planning, developing and overseeing Accounts Payable-Telecom for the department as well as verifying and conducting payments for statewide telecommunication charges and maintains the accuracy of agency rebilling for those charges.
Serves as Agency Liaison coordinating interaction with the vendors' billing and account management teams regarding vendor billing issues and manages the vendor billing interface.
Oversees and directs the Accounts Payable - Telecom programs and serves as a consultant to technical programming staff in the development and enhancement of these applications.
Plans and develops policy recommendations and procedures for the analysis, review, and verification of vendor invoices and the management of EMS activities.
Serves as a working supervisor. Supports the Billing Manager and Chief Financial Officer in the effective management of the telecommunications program and develops controls over spending.
Directs the audit of vendor invoices by third party contractors and coordinates the development and application of credits.
Performs other duties as required or assigned which are reasonably within the scope of the duties enumerated above.
