Responsibilities
- Lead the development of impactful customer stories by identifying, sourcing, and prioritizing narratives that align with strategic business objectives.
- Manage the full story lifecycle from planning and interviews to approvals and final delivery, ensuring on-time, high-quality output.
- Conduct in-depth customer interviews to uncover authentic, results-driven stories that highlight clear business outcomes.
- Craft a variety of content (case studies, testimonials, articles, video scripts) to animate customer journeys with clarity and emotional resonance.
- Collaborate with marketing, product, and sales teams to gather insights, align messaging, and identify strong customer advocates.
- Oversee the content approval process, ensuring accuracy, brand consistency, and stakeholder sign-off.
- Build and maintain systems to support efficiency and scale (content calendars, centralized repository of published / in-progress stories).
- Ensure stories are optimized for multiple formats (Keynote presentations, web pages, videos, and short- and long-form narratives).
Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Journalism, Communications, Marketing, Advertising, or related field.8+ years of professional writing experience with a background in journalism, storytelling, or content marketing.Excellent writing, editing, and proofreading skills with strong structure, voice, and tone.Portfolio of published customer case studies or journalistic features.Strong interviewing and editorial skills with the ability to translate complex customer experiences into clear, compelling narratives.Preferred Qualifications
Strong interpersonal and communication skills; comfortable working with customers, including executives.Project management experience with multiple deadlines and stakeholders.Understanding of campaign performance metrics and the value of highlighting customer success to drive business outcomes.B2B marketing experience, especially in a growth-stage or high-velocity environment.Pay & Benefits
Base pay range : $146,800 – $274,500, determined by skills, qualifications, experience, and location. Eligible for discretionary bonuses or commissions, and relocation where applicable.
