Job description

Senior Vice President of Broker Solutions

As a Senior Vice President of Broker Solutions, you'll scale and lead the integrated broker sales team focusing on generating new business for Valenz's fully integrated platform of solutions with brokers and employers. You will be responsible for developing and executing a comprehensive strategy to expand the Valenz team and broker sales.

Things You'll Do Here :

  • Develop and implement a strategic vision for broker, consultant and employer sales, ensuring alignment with company objectives and market opportunities.
  • Train and mentor a high-performing broker sales team, fostering a player-lead culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
  • Develop targeted sales strategies and provide timely updates to management.
  • Cultivate strong relationships with key stakeholders and broker / consultant offices across the country to establish trust and drive the adoption of our solutions.
  • Develop and monitor sales team and individual KPIs, providing data-driven insights and reporting to inform decision-making and improve outcomes driving the sales strategy and plan.
  • Partner with teams across the organization to ensure broker sales alignment with broader company objectives, customer needs and marketing initiatives.
  • Coordinate efforts to ensure that Valenz services are delivered efficiently and effectively.
  • Thoroughly understand all Valenz products and services, including their features, benefits, and competitive differentiators.
  • Stay up to date on industry trends and developments.
  • Attend industry events and trade shows to network with prospects and generate new business.
  • Set up meetings with prospects and use these events as an opportunity to showcase Valenz services.
  • Keep accurate and up-to-date records of all prospect interactions in the customer relationship management (CRM) system.

What You'll Bring to the Team :

  • Ten (10) or more years of experience in a business development or sales role within the healthcare, insurance, or related industries, and a minimum of three (3) years in a leadership role.
  • Proven track record of success in sales, developing and executing successful sales strategies, exceeding sales targets, and scaling teams.
  • Ability to maintain strict confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.
  • Knowledgeable of healthcare plan administration and / or self-funded plans.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
  • Where You'll Work :

    This is a fully remote position, and we'll provide all the necessary equipment!

  • Work Environment : You'll need a quiet workspace that is free from distractions.
  • Technology : Reliable internet connectionif you can use streaming services, you're good to go!
  • Security : Adherence to company security protocols, including the use of VPNs, secure passwords, and company-approved devices / software.
  • Location : You must be US based, in a location where you can work effectively and comply with company policies such as HIPAA.
