Executive Director, Us Access Strategy & Marketing, Cns
The Executive Director, US Access Strategy and Marketing, CNS leads the Access Strategy and Marketing team responsible for the development of U.S. market access strategies and corresponding marketing materials for Otsuka's CNS portfolio of medicines in the United States. This individual will lead the evolution of the brand / portfolio value proposition to U.S. payer and channel customers. This role is based in Princeton with remote work placement as an option and reports to the Vice President, CNS Business & Customer Engagement Operations business unit.
Lead a team responsible for developing access strategies and access marketing materials for Otsuka's CNS portfolio in the United States, for both in-line and pipeline products.
Lead the development and alignment process for the U.S. brand access strategic and operating plans in close collaboration with business and brand leadership as well as market access leadership teams.
Accountable for enterprise-wide access strategy and policy shaping in partnership with BU counterpart.
Create an environment of constant growth for the access strategy and marketing team that maximizes engagement and effectiveness, ensuring that the team is staffed with top talent within the industry.
Lead a team to define the strategies to achieve access goals, including how to message, position, and leverage Medical, Value and Evidence, advocacy & evidence assessments, advocacy groups, and a product's clinical value proposition to compete and secure access for patients.
Identify evidence generation needs based on market access events and coordinating with brand team, HEOR / Medical teams to inform the development of value propositions.
Work closely with the global product team and U.S. brand team to integrate the U.S. Market access perspective into key development programs for in-line and pipeline medicines ensure alignment around delivery against access goals at each stage of a product's lifecycle.
Work closely with the U.S and global business development teams ensuring U.S. market access perspectives are reflected in acquisition deals that may be under consideration.
Keep a pulse on upcoming legislative actions that impact patient access to Otsuka's CNS portfolio and shape a cross-functional team to build a response strategy in partnership with the government affairs team.
Set strategy and support development of pricing and contracting in collaboration with the Pricing & Contracting team.
Leads strategic transformation initiatives that may cross multiple therapeutic areas.
Lead market access channel assessments, including direct brand-specific payer / advocacy market research activities and build recommendations on the best way to approach our existing channels.
Ensure Market Access is updated on the latest market dynamics, changes and trends, and that key insights are incorporated into business plan and strategy.
Work closely with the brand marketing team for the creation of Market Access specific collateral and pull-through materials for specific clients and customer relevant campaigns.
Recognized as a key advisor and thought partner for US access strategy and marketing.
Travel expected up to 30%.

Minimum $245,454.00 - Maximum $381,110.00, plus incentive opportunity : The range shown represents a typical pay range or starting pay for individuals who are hired in the role to perform in the United States. Other elements may be used to determine actual pay such as the candidate's job experience, specific skills, and comparison to internal incumbents currently in role.
