Must-Have : GE Scanner Experience

Description :

We are seeking an MRI Technologist to join our team.

You must have an associate degree in magnetic resonance imaging or radiology.

Certification from the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) is a plus.

The ideal candidate knows how to operate the MRI machine efficiently.

You should be able to make patients feel comfortable before and during the scanning procedure.

You will coordinate with the patient's physician to ensure the results are received in a timely manner.

You must be familiar with medical terminology.

The role requires the ability to stand for extended periods.

MRI Technologist Duties and Responsibilities :

Maintain a clean and safe scanning facility.

Coordinate with physicians to provide diagnostic imaging.

Prepare patients for scans and explain the procedure to help them feel comfortable.

Insert IVs when necessary for the test.

Document all procedures while maintaining the confidentiality of patient information.

Certification through ARRT or a similar organization is preferred.

You must be willing to obtain this certification after starting.

Injection certification is preferred but not required.
