Base pay range

$140,000.00 / yr - $160,000.00 / yr

About the Company

Our client is a long‑standing recruitment organization with a strong presence in Financial Services, supporting banks, hedge funds, private equity firms, and fintech companies. As part of its strategic growth plan, the firm is investing heavily in the expansion of its Technology Contract Staffing division, which supplies short‑term, project‑based, and contract‑to‑hire technology talent across the FS landscape.

Role Overview

The company is seeking a Head of Sales to lead the commercial growth of its Technology Temp / Contract Staffing practice. This is a dedicated leadership role focused exclusively on the technology contract business—not the broader sales efforts of the firm.

The Head of Sales will be responsible for developing the go‑to‑market strategy, managing and growing a team of sales professionals, and building deeper penetration across new and existing technology client groups. This role centers on commercial leadership, team scale, and revenue acceleration rather than running an individual book.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead, mentor, and expand the sales team supporting the Technology Contract division.
  • Recruit, onboard, and develop high‑performing account executives and business development professionals.
  • Build a scalable sales framework with measurable KPIs, productivity standards, and growth targets.
  • Define and execute the go‑to‑market plan for technology contract staffing within the Financial Services ecosystem.
  • Identify new technology client segments and project‑based staffing opportunities across banks, funds, and financial institutions.
  • Collaborate closely with recruiting and delivery teams to ensure consistent fulfillment and high client satisfaction.
  • Develop multi‑year revenue strategies designed to significantly increase the division’s market share.
  • Foster a competitive and growth‑oriented sales culture aligned with the company’s broader vision.

Candidate Profile

  • 7+ years of experience in staffing or recruitment, with a strong focus on technology contract / temporary placements.
  • Demonstrated success building and scaling sales teams within a contract staffing environment.
  • Proven ability to coach, develop, and elevate revenue‑producing talent.
  • Experience creating sales strategies tailored to technology clients, ideally within Financial Services.
  • Strong commercial instincts with the ability to identify new markets, service lines, and client expansion opportunities.
  • Strategic, metrics‑driven leader who thrives in a growth‑focused environment.
