RWE Design Build is seeking a mid-level  Project Architect  to join our team in Downers Grove, IL! This individual will play a critical role in shaping and executing innovative, functional, and code-compliant design solutions for commercial construction projects, focused on veterinarian, medical and dental offices. The ideal candidate brings strong conceptual design skills, technical expertise, and a collaborative mindset to deliver exceptional results from concept through construction.

Key Responsibilities :

Conceptual Design

• Develop initial design concepts based on client requirements, budget, and site conditions.
• Create sketches, renderings, and 3D models to communicate design ideas visually.

Space Planning

Technical Drawings

Material and Finish Selection

Client and Stakeholder Collaboration

Code Compliance

Project Management

Site Analysis

Qualifications :

Bachelor's degree in Architecture from an accredited institution.

Proven experience in architectural design, with a portfolio showcasing a range of projects.

Proficiency in architectural design software Revit and Bluebeam.

Strong creative and analytical thinking skills.

Excellent communication and presentation skills.

Additional Requirements :

6+ years of proven experience in commercial architectural design, with a portfolio showcasing a range of projects.

Familiarity with sustainable design principles and green building practices.

Knowledge of current trends and advancements in architecture.

Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines.

Experience with veterinarian design a plus, but not required
