Job description

Role summary

Experienced construction professional responsible for daily site rounds, progress monitoring, subcontractor selection and negotiation, contract preparation, and schedule management for single-family home projects in the Fort Myers, Lehigh Acres & North Porta area. Ensures work quality, safety compliance, budget control, and timely delivery.

Key responsibilities

  • Conduct daily site inspections and document progress, issues, and corrective actions.
  • Monitor schedule adherence and update project timelines; escalate delays and propose recovery plans.
  • Source, evaluate, negotiate with, and recommend subcontractors and suppliers.
  • Prepare, review, and manage subcontractor agreements and change orders.
  • Coordinate on-site activities among trades, inspectors, and suppliers to maintain workflow.
  • Track budgets, labor, materials, and report variances to project leadership.
  • Ensure compliance with local building codes, permit conditions, and company safety policies.
  • Maintain clear daily reports, photos, punch lists, and handover documentation.

Required qualifications

  • Proven experience in construction of single-family homes with on-site supervision.
  • Fluent in English and Spanish.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office, especially Excel and Word.
  • Valid U.S. driver's license with reliable transportation.
  • Strong negotiation, communication, and organizational skills.
  • Ability to read plans, schedules, and basic construction documents.

    • Preferred

  • Prior experience working in Southwest Florida or familiarity with local building departments.
  • Experience preparing contracts and managing subcontractor relationships for residential projects.
  • OSHA or equivalent safety certification.
