Job description

D&T Operations Director

As a CBRE D&T Operations Director, you will assist with the oversight of the Digital and Technology Operations team. This job is part of the D&T Support job function. They are responsible for providing technical support and solutions to internal users.

What You'll Do :

  • Provide formal supervision to employees. Supervise the training and development of staff. Conduct performance evaluations and coaching. Supervise the recruiting and hiring of new employees.
  • Coordinate and lead the team's daily activities. Establish work schedules, assign tasks, and cross-train staff. Set and track staff and department deadlines. Mentor and coach as needed.
  • Implement and supervise day-to-day operational systems and processes to provide visibility into the goals, progress, and obstacles of key initiatives.
  • Evaluate metrics for day-to-day operations to ensure efficient and timely completion of tasks. Report findings to Sr. Director.
  • Assist with creating strategies for ensuring the growth of programs enterprise-wide, and implement process improvements to maximize output and minimize costs.
  • Enforce the company's policies and standards, and ensure that laws and regulations are being followed.
  • Observe current operational processes and performance, recommending solutions for improvement where vital.
  • Apply a robust knowledge of multiple disciplines, the business, and key drivers which impact departmental and cross-functional performance.
  • Lead by example and model behaviors that are consistent with CBRE RISE values. Persuade managers and other colleagues to take action while being guided by the organization's functional business plans.
  • Negotiate with external partners, vendors, and customers of divergent interests to reach a common goal.
  • Identify and tackle multi-dimensional, sophisticated, operational, and organizational problems using the appropriate resources within or outside the department.
  • Significantly improve and change existing methods, processes, and standards within job subject area.

What You'll Need :

  • Bachelor's Degree preferred with 8-12 years of relevant experience. In lieu of a degree, a combination of experience and education will be considered.
  • Experience in the areas of staffing, selection, training, development, coaching, mentoring, measuring, appraising, and rewarding performance and retention is preferred.
  • Ability to own the exchange of sensitive, complicated, and difficult information, convey performance expectations, and handle problems.
  • Leadership skills to set, lead and achieve targets with a direct impact on multiple departments results within a function.
  • In-depth knowledge of Microsoft Office products. Examples include Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.
  • Expert organizational skills and a sophisticated inquisitive mindset.

    CBRE carefully considers multiple factors to determine compensation, including a candidate's education, training, and experience. The minimum salary for the D&T Operations Director position is $140,000 annually and the maximum salary for the position is $200,000 annually. The compensation that is offered to a successful candidate will depend on the candidate's skills, qualifications, and experience. Successful candidates will also be eligible for a discretionary bonus based on CBRE's applicable benefit program. This role will provide the following benefits : 401(K), Dental insurance, Health insurance, Life insurance, and Vision insurance.
