The National Lime Association representing lime producers in the United States and Canada is seeking to fill the position of Communications Manager.
Lime is manufactured from sedimentary limestone deposits and is an essential-for-life chemical. Lime is also a critical component in environmental compliance for many industries, as it is used to purify water and scrub air pollutants from stack emissions.
It is used in the steel manufacturing process, road building, and the creation of other building products like mortar and plaster.
The Communications Manager will create, implement and oversee communications programs, be it internal or external, that effectively describe and promote the organization and its mission.
This is a new position with the non-profit organization that currently has a team of five.
The Communications Manager will report to the Executive Director but will support other staff members in developing content for the company website, social media, legislative bodies, and regulators.
The position requires strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to write, edit and develop engaging content for print and online along with being well versed in digital platforms and social media trends.
The ideal candidate will have WordPress and Office proficiency and the ability to work in a collaborative environment and independently.
This position is a hybrid and office presence expected at least twice a week (Tuesday / Thursday).
