Position Details

3East - Neuro Stepdown RN needed

36 OR 48 GTE

Dysrhythmia Exam Required (Study Guide Available)

Neuro experience preferred including NIHSS.

Must have BLS, ACLS and NIHSS

12 HR Nights

Every 3rd weekend, every other holiday

We are MS / Tele with a primary focus on neurology.

Though MS, our patients are often very sick and are borderline SD, so they are complex, which having SD background would be beneficial.

Unit Specific Details

30 Bed Unit

Neuro / neurosurgical, cardiac, renal and med / surg. Post-cath without intervention, stable arrhythmias, post-pacemakers, syncope, and chronic renal failure.

Drips : Heparin.

Can administer IV BP medications.

Oxygen : Stable trachs, BiPAP, CPAP, High flow.  No ventilators.  Max O2 requirement is 6L.

Ratios : 1 : 5-6
