  • Prior experience in Civil Defense preferred but open to eager attorneys with any litigation experience interested in this type of law.

Position Overview

Seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Insurance Defense Attorney with 1-3 years of experience to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for litigation, excellent research and writing skills, and a commitment to delivering outstanding client service. Key Responsibilities

  • Handle a caseload of insurance defense matters, including personal injury, property damage, and other liability claims.
  • Conduct legal research, draft pleadings, motions, and briefs, and prepare for and attend court hearings and trials.
  • Collaborate with senior attorneys on complex cases and provide support in all phases of litigation.
  • Engage in client communication, strategy discussions, and settlement negotiations.
  • Participate in firm-sponsored training and professional development opportunities.

    • Qualifications

  • Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.
  • Admission to the state bar in NY.
  • 1-3 years of experience in insurance defense or related litigation.
  • Strong analytical, research, and writing skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
  • Commitment to professional growth and continuous learning.
