As a part of the OptumCare network, Riverside Medical Group is seeking a Certified Medical Assistant to join our growing team in New Jersey Multispecialty Practice Gastro , Cardio and Primary Care .

Willing to cover at nearby location in Millburn, NJ Primary Responsibilities : Prepare examination rooms and sterilize medical equipment Room patients, obtain health history, check vital signs and perform EKG’s Administer injections and collect specimens Document patient care using electronic medical record software Schedule appointments, complete prior authorizations, process medication refills, handle referrals, answer calls and complete paperwork as needed Assist physicians, nurse practitioners or physician assistants with minor, in-office procedures You’ll be rewarded and recognized for your performance in an environment that will challenge you and give you clear direction on what it takes to succeed in your role as well as provide development for other roles you may be interested in.

Required Qualifications : Medical Assistant certification 1+ years of Medical Assistant experience Computer literacy M-F availability 2 Saturdays per month hours Vary Preferred Qualifications : Experience with Epic EMR Bilingual New Jersey Residents Only : The hourly range for New Jersey residents is $16.

00 to $27.31 per hour. Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to education, work experience, certifications, etc.
