Lab Technician 2

Volt is immediately hiring a Lab Tech II in Maplewood, Minnesota .

This is a first shift position

The position of Laboratory Technician will provide technical assistance to engineers by performing routine and complex laboratory tasks for the Application Engineering Department of the Automotive Aftermarket Laboratory.

As a Lab Tech II you will :

• Prepare materials and organize product testing.
• Assist in laboratory experiments through testing and evaluation of new materials and products based on research.
• Welding, sanding, painting, facility maintenance & organization, etc.
• Perform statistical data analysis, interpretation, and documentation of experimental results in technical notebooks.
• Assist in assuring availability of raw materials by maintaining and ordering needed supplies and equipment.

This is a full time contingent opportunity.

Estimated Duration 24+ months.

The ideal candidate will have :

Pay Rate : $22.50-24.00 hr. Plus, paid holidays, sick time and vacation pay!
