Who We Are Looking For

We are looking for a self-starter, reliable individual who can grow with the company. The Field Specialist will participate in all aspects of installation projects, including construction of superstructure, iron work, cabling, and installation and removal of batteries and associated chargers, control and distribution systems. The Field Specialist must understand and follow directions, anticipate next steps, and adhere to safe practices while wearing required PPE and maintaining a professional work ethic during job performance and client interactions.

The role is to provide installation services and help resolve customer-related issues within the quoted scope of work. The Field Specialist will assist the supervisor or on-site personnel to deliver customer requirements while supporting lead installers with mechanical construction tasks.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for projects\' on-time performance, adherence to standard procedures, safety, and minimizing service interruptions, ensuring quality and customer service.
• Accurate and timely reporting of job schedules, project time reporting, and expense reports.
• Coordinate job scheduling in conjunction with material availability.
• Develop project synopsis, job-specific operation summaries, and cost reduction actions.
• Develop the technical capabilities of internal resources; administer PCSS policies including EEO, Safety, EPA, and HR procedures for direct reports.
• Supervise job-specific staff on assigned service / installation projects within specific regions as required.
• Provide ongoing technical training to remain current with the DC power / telecommunications technology base as it pertains to power and services.
• Apply continuous improvement techniques to achieve industry-leading installation processes, applications, and services to expand the customer base.
