Job Title : Sr. OpenShift Administrator (AWS & Cluster Management) Location : The Woodlands, TX

Job Description

Seeking a Senior OpenShift Administrator with deep expertise in Red Hat OpenShift (OCP) on AWS . This role will own administration, scaling, security, automation, and troubleshooting of enterprise OpenShift clusters in a cloud-native, production environment.

Key Responsibilities :

• Administer, configure, upgrade, patch, and monitor Red Hat OpenShift clusters on AWS
• Design and implement cluster scaling, load balancing, and multi-AZ architectures
• Manage namespaces, policies, and enforce security & governance
• Deploy and troubleshoot workloads using Helm charts, YAML manifests, and CI / CD
• Integrate OpenShift with AWS services EBS, Route53, ALB / NLB, IAM, CloudWatch
• Partner with DevOps / Cloud teams to optimize cost, performance, and availability
• Automate OCP operations using Ansible, Terraform, or similar IaC
• Monitor health and alerts using Prometheus, Grafana, ELK / EFK
• Implement security controls RBAC, certificates, vulnerability remediations
• Participate in incident response and RCA for cluster or container issues
• Maintain documentation, SOPs, and architecture diagrams
