Supervisory Quality Assurance Specialist

Job Position in Washington Headquarters Services

This position is located in the Washington Headquarters Services (WHS), Facilities Services Directorate (FSD), Facilities Operations and Services Division (FOSD), Facilities Operations Group (FOG), Reservation Engineering Operations Branch (REO). The incumbent may be assigned to one of the branches or field of offices that encompass the FOSD. Responsibilities include :

• Providing direct staff assistance and support to the Reservation Engineering Operations Branch and the Branch Chief.
• Developing and effectively communicating QA requirements in terms of technical requirements, economical costs, equipment testing, building systems deficiencies, and audit requirements.
• Ensuring practical planning, controls, and the availability of adequate documentation to support contract obligations / disbursements.
• Continuously reviewing operational / financial policies and procedures to improve government control.

Requirements include :

You may qualify at the GS-13 level if you fulfill the following qualification requirement : One year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-13 grade level in the federal service that demonstrates your ability to evaluate work of service providers for technical quality and acceptability, ensure adequacy and progress of work, document instances of non-compliance, and recommend payment / nonpayment to the Contracting Officer.
