Adults and geriatric patients with multisystem organ failure, sepsis, respiratory failure, cardiac emergencies, and post-surgical complicationsUnit Capacity :

Sepsis, respiratory failure, ARDS, cardiac arrest, acute stroke, renal failure, and post-operative managementMultisystem organ dysfunction / failure and critical neurological or cardiac conditionsNursing Responsibilities :
Continuous cardiac and hemodynamic monitoringTitration of cardiac and vasoactive IV dripsVentilator and airway management including tracheostomy and BiPAP / CPAP supportManagement of invasive lines : arterial, central, PICC, and pulmonary artery cathetersCare for post-cardiac surgery, ECMO, IABP, LVAD / RVAD, Impella, and TAVR patientsCRRT initiation and monitoring for renal supportAdministration of blood products and emergency medicationsInterpretation of ABGs, EKGs, and dysrhythmiasSupport during rapid response and code situationsSystems and Equipment :
