Sales Administrator / Customer Service Specialist

Kratos Microwave, Inc., a Kratos' company, is looking for a Sales Administrator / Customer Service Specialist for their San Jose location. General Job Summary

The Sales Administrator / Customer Service Specialist function is responsible for activities related to assisting, supporting, and resolving customers questions specific to products, sales and services. They are responsible for verifying orders, connecting with customers by phone or email to answer questions or obtain information. Assists in compiling and maintaining reports and logs.

Essential Job Functions

  • Develops professional expertise, applies company policies to resolve a variety of issues.
  • Determines a course of action based on guidelines and modifies processes and methods as required.
  • Exercises judgment within defined procedures and practices to determine appropriate action.
  • Applies learned techniques and contributes to analysis and investigation to solve problems.
  • Builds productive internal / external working relationships to resolve mutual problems by collaborating on procedures or transactions.
  • Communicates via email and phone with customer to provide requested information.
  • Work as a team member toward a common goal.
  • Process new and modified awards from customers.
  • Support the shipment of our product by processing the orders through our various systems.
  • Maintain efficient methods to remain organized and timely in your role.
  • Process return material requests with customers and ensure the spreadsheets are up to date with the current status.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Supervisory Responsibility

This position does not have direct supervisory responsibilities.

Required Experience : Knowledge, Skills & Abilities

Possess the knowledge, skills, and abilities to perform the assigned duties, including computer skills.

Maintain sensitive and confidential information as required by company and government requirements.

Communicate and interact effectively with peers, supervisors, and public, including maintaining respect for others, and following company policies.

Have a willingness and ability to learn and utilize company technology for company required purposes, including, for example training, reviewing, and signing policies and procedures, benefits enrollment, and changes, and more.

Ability to read, understand, and follow instructions.

Ability to work in a fast paced environment.

Ability to maintain knowledge, skills, and abilities as it pertains to your job.

Ability to obtain security clearance, if needed.

Education And Experience

Requires a Bachelor's degree and a minimum of 2 years of related experience; or, a minimum of 6 years of equivalent work experience without a degree.

Work Environment / Physical Requirements

Office / open cubical / manufacturing environment.

Ability to stand and sit for long periods of time.

Ability to perform repetitive motion (keyboarding, mouse, phones).
