Are you a seasoned Construction Superintendent that is open to travel 75% of the time? Company is currently seeking a highly motivated Traveling Superintendent to join a dynamic team. This is an exceptional opportunity for a construction professional who thrives on a fast-paced environment and enjoys the challenge of unique projects across different regions. As a Traveling Superintendent, you will play a pivotal role in our construction projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest standards of quality. This is a FULL TIME Employment opportunity and NOT a Contract Position!

Responsibilities :

As a Traveling Superintendent, you will be at the forefront of our construction projects, overseeing all job site activities from inception to completion. Your key responsibilities will include :

  • Supervising and coordinating all construction activities on job sites, ensuring all work is carried out as per the project plans, specifications, and safety regulations.
  • Developing and implementing comprehensive project schedules, ensuring all milestones are met timely and efficiently.
  • Collaborating with project managers, engineers, architects, and other construction professionals to ensure smooth project execution.
  • Conducting regular site inspections to monitor progress, identify potential issues, and implement corrective actions.
  • Ensuring all construction activities comply with the company's quality standards, safety regulations, and environmental policies.
  • Managing relationships with clients, subcontractors, and local authorities, addressing any concerns or issues promptly and professionally.
  • Providing regular project updates to senior management, including progress reports, budget updates, and risk assessments.

    • Qualifications :

    The ideal candidate for the Permanent Traveling Superintendent role will have :

  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in site management / superintendent work, with a proven track record in site supervision and project management.
  • Extensive knowledge of construction processes, materials, quality control, and safety protocols.
  • Strong leadership skills, with the ability to motivate and manage a diverse team.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills, with the ability to make sound decisions under pressure.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain positive relationships with clients, subcontractors, and team members.
  • Proficiency in construction software and technology, including project management tools and CAD software.
  • A valid driver's license and the ability to travel frequently to different job sites.
