Job descriptionProvide excellent patient care Take and develop dental x rays Assess patients' oral health and report findings to dentists Document patient care and treatment plans Educate patients about oral hygiene techniques, such as how to brush and floss correctly Performs miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned Qualifications Dental Hygiene license (Required) Local Anesthesia (Preferred, but not required) Knowledge and Skills / Expected Competencies Ability to clearly communicate medical information to professional practitioners and / or the general public. Physical / Mental Demands and Work Environment The physical demands described are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand, walk and use hands and arms to operate general office equipment (PC, telephone, file cabinets, copier, fax machine and printer). The employee may occasionally lift and / or move between 10 and 25 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision and ability to adjust focus. The employee may need to travel to healthcare practices. The work environment characteristics described here are representative of those an employee encounters while performing the essential functions of this job. The noise level in the work environment is usually low to moderate. - Operations Reports to : Dental Practice Manager FLSA Status : Non-Exempt Schedule : Ideal Schedule Mondays and Thursdays Compensation Information : $60-70 per hour, eligible for overtime Benefits (varies by hours worked) : PTO : 1.54 hours accrued for every 40 hours worked Sick Leave : 1 hour earned for every 30 hours worked maxing at 40 hours 8 Holidays 401(K) Company Overview Smart Arches Dental Implant Centers have been created by doctors to improve the lives of the patients who entrust us with their care.
