• Work in a Level II trauma center and comprehensive stroke center with high volume exceeding 100,000 visits annually
• Patient ratios typically 4 : 1 for medical patients, up to 7 : 1 for ED behavioral holds
• Required to work every other weekend with flexible scheduling to meet department needs
• Float to all sections within the ED but no floating outside the emergency department
• Work with 101-bed emergency department using Baxter pumps, GE monitors, and Cerner documentation system
• Required certifications : ACLS, BLS, PALS, TNCC, CPI, and NIHSS before starting date; ENPC within 90 days of hire
• Minimum 2 years nursing experience with at least 1 year in emergency room setting required
• Must demonstrate teamwork mentality and ability to coach and provide real-time feedback
• Flexibility to work in all areas of the ED required
• Follow AIDET protocols and maintain respectful patient experience standards
• Navy scrubs uniform required
• Support care for diverse community with over 120 languages in the service area
