The Director of Development, Giving Societies will lead and grow three of Dell Children's most inspiring communities of philanthropic leaders :
These Giving Societies are made up of passionate donors and volunteers who believe in creating a healthier, brighter future for children. The Director will nurture these communities, deepening relationships, welcoming new members, and creating meaningful experiences that connect people to the mission of Dell Children's. This role is part of the Annual Giving Team and plays a vital part in building a strong pipeline of philanthropic support, cultivating relationships that often grow from annual giving to lifelong partnerships.

Responsibilities include participating in fundraising campaigns, grant administration, major gift and / or charitable development programs, assisting with fundraising campaigns including budgets and timelines, coordinating the creative process, file selection, production and mailing, and the acknowledgement process, supporting strategy to train staff on marketing campaigns, soliciting donors, and defining levels of giving and benefits, creating printed materials and updating databases and websites with campaign program information, implementing donor relations / recognition activities, developing donor confidence and relationships through effective gift solicitation, processing and acknowledgement, supporting the development and implementation of tracking strategies for solicitation efforts and performing analysis of data for results.
Requirements include education : high school diploma equivalency with 2 years of cumulative experience OR associate's degree / bachelor's degree OR 4 years of applicable cumulative job specific experience required. Additional preferences include bachelor's degree required, 3-5 years minimum of fundraising experience, ideally with relevant community engagement and project management experience preferred, experience fundraising in a healthcare environment preferred, and annual and / or event fundraising experience preferred.
