Responsibilities:

• Provide individual and group counseling to residents dealing with mental health, emotional, and behavioral challenges.
• Conduct assessments and develop care plans tailored to the needs of each resident.
• Offer support to families and caregivers in managing challenges related to aging, health, and caregiving.
• Collaborate with other members of the interdisciplinary team to provide holistic care.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation in compliance with facility policies and regulations.
• Assist in crisis intervention and provide support during emotional or mental health emergencies.
• Educate staff and residents on mental health and wellness topics.

Qualifications:

• Master’s Degree in Counseling, Psychology, Social Work, or a related field.
• Current and valid LPC license in the state of New Jersey.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
• Compassionate, patient, and dedicated to providing high-quality care.
• Willing to work onsite
