Role Overview

We are seeking a Field Applications Engineer (Automation) who brings strong hands-on experience with industrial automation hardware and software. While software knowledge is valuable, this role requires proven ability with Variable Frequency Drives (VFDs), PLCs, HMIs, servo systems, and fieldbus integration . This individual will be customer-facing, supporting pre-sales, design-in activities, and technical troubleshooting.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide customer technical support and design-in assistance for VFDs, PLCs, HMIs, and automation solutions.
• Commission, troubleshoot, and optimize VFDs and servo motion systems in industrial environments.
• Program and integrate PLC / HMI systems (Allen-Bradley, Siemens, Codesys, or equivalent).
• Support customer events, product demonstrations, and field trials.
• Interface with engineering teams and contribute to continuous improvement in applications support.
• Collaborate with sales and product management to influence design and deployment strategies.

VFDs (commissioning, tuning, diagnostics).
