Sr. Research Program Coordinator

The Senior Research Program Coordinator will support the NIA-funded Center on Aging and Population Sciences by coordinating events and contributing to the Center's goals across multiple projects. This role serves as a point of contact for core directors, faculty affiliates, collaborators, and visiting guests, supporting efficient operations, promoting engagement, and overseeing the completion of deliverables.

Responsibilities

Event and communications support :

• Coordinate center events, workshops, and meetings, including logistics for guest speakers (travel, catering, itineraries), event budgeting, securing venues, and follow-up actions such as expense processing.
• Draft and distribute accurate event announcements and other communications for promotion to internal and external stakeholders.
• Assist with maintaining the visibility of Center activity across social media channels, websites, and archives.
• Manage contact lists, listservs, and website profiles for effective communication among affiliates and collaborative aging center institutions.
• Assist the Program Director in maintaining the Center's website, ensuring content reflects current activities and objectives.
