This contract opportunity seeks a dedicated school nurse to provide full-time health room support at a high school in Minneapolis, MN. The position involves working up to 34 hours per week for a long-term substitute assignment of 6-8 weeks starting January 6th, supporting students health and wellness throughout the school day. The role is integral to fostering a safe and caring environment for K-12 students within the school community.

Key Responsibilities :

Provide health room support and first aid to students and staff.

Manage daily care plans and medications as needed.

Respond to health emergencies and communicate with parents or guardians.

Maintain accurate health records in compliance with school policies.

Collaborate with school staff to promote student health and wellness initiatives.

Qualifications :

Licensed Registered Nurse (RN) credential.

Experience in school nursing or pediatric healthcare preferred.

Strong interpersonal and communication skills.

Ability to work independently and as part of a school health team.

Familiarity with K-12 health requirements and protocols is beneficial.
