Truss Builder

The individual will be responsible for taking pre-cut wood / lumber and placing it on a large table. The table is equipped with a laser that dictates the placement of wood. The individual will piece together trusses over the table, much like assembling a puzzle, and hammer in metal plates over designated areas to assemble the truss.

Responsibilities

• Take pre-cut wood / lumber and place it on a large table with laser-guided placement.
• Assemble trusses by piecing together wood and hammering metal plates over designated areas.
• Work in various positions in the building of trusses within a production facility.
• Manually pull lumber orders using pallet jacks.
• Load lumber onto conveyor systems.
• Load, operate, and offload machinery.
• Assemble wood trusses using staple guns, hammers, and brackets.
• Stage completed work in the yard, ready for forklifts.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $24.00 / hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
