Meet our team :

Kim Turner Managing Director :

• Time with Prudential : 20 years.
• Prior Experience : Began her career with Lincoln Financial Group on the institutional side, selling plans and working directly with plan participants. Joined Prudential as a financial advisor and later held roles including Business Development Manager, Manager Financial Services, Manager Agency Training, and Associate Managing Director. Promoted to Managing Director 13 years ago.
• Passionate About : Kim and her husband are raising three boys who stay active in football and soccer, where the family also volunteers as coaches. She enjoys tennis, spending time outdoors, and being on the water at Lake Norman. Her family supports the 24 Foundation, volunteering to help those navigating and recovering from cancer.

James McCarthy Associate Managing Director :

• Time with Prudential : 19 years.
• Prior Experience : Started as a financial advisor in Philadelphia and has held leadership roles across the East Coast, including Boston, New York, Florida, and the Carolinas. Before Prudential, he worked as a financial advisor with American Express Financial Advisors and earlier as a Junior Project Manager with Henkels & McCoy, overseeing large-scale construction projects across the West Coast, Alaska, and Hawaii.
• Passionate About : James and his wife, a special education teacher, have been married since 2006 and are raising four children, triplets in high school and a younger son in middle school. Their family also includes two rescue dogs, Penny and Daisy. James is a lifelong Philadelphia sports fan who enjoys traveling, cheering on the Eagles, and spending quality time with his family.

Jacob Dalton Regional Director :

• Time with Prudential : Since 2021.
• Prior Experience : Owned an independent RIA and has been licensed in the industry since 2017. Previously worked in the death care industry for five years and served 15 years in the U.S. Army, where he continues as a Senior Drill Sergeant.
• Passionate About : Jacob is dedicated to mentoring and training both inside and outside the organization. He and his wife are raising six children and he enjoys golf, running, traveling, and spending time at home with his family.

Jon Bass Regional Director :

• Time with Prudential : 12 years.
• Prior Experience : Began his career in banking with Wachovia in 2005 and SunTrust in 2008, before moving into financial planning to build his own practice with a focus on tax strategies and risk management.
• Passionate About : Jon and his wife, high school sweethearts, have been married for 16 years and together for 25. They love traveling together, especially to the Caribbean and international destinations. A devoted family man, Jon enjoys creating memories with his children and is also a semi-professional gamer who competes in tournaments for Call of Duty, Halo Infinite, and Fortnite.

Licensing and Education Requirements :

We seek individuals committed to professional development who either hold or are actively pursuing these licenses to grow their careers in financial services :

• Series 7
• Series 66
• Passing the SIE (Securities Industry Essentials) exam.
• Life / Health Insurance License
• 4-year college degree (preferred)
