The Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced Class A Linehaul Driver to transport freight between company terminals or customer locations. This is a no-touch freight role, and drivers return home daily. You will play a key role in ensuring timely, efficient deliveries while maintaining a strong commitment to safety and excellent customer service.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

No Touch Freight : Transport freight without handling or loading / unloading.

Safety Compliance : Follow all required safety protocols and procedures, including the use of personal protective equipment (PPE).

DOT Compliance : Accurately complete pre- and post-trip inspections, driver logs, and all necessary service reports.

Timely Deliveries : Ensure on-time pickups and deliveries to maintain a high level of customer satisfaction.

Communication : Maintain clear and timely communication with dispatch and terminal personnel, reporting any delays, incidents, or route changes.

Requirements : Minimum Requirements

Experience : 1+ years of Class A driving experience required.

Education : High School Diploma or GED preferred.

License : Valid Class A CDL with no restrictions.

Endorsements : Hazmat, Tanker, Doubles / Triples (or willingness to obtain within 90 days).

Driving Record : Clean driving record is required.

Screening : Ability to pass a background check and DOT drug screen

Compensation

Compensation : $30.00 - $31.00 an hour, based on experience and location.

Classification : Non-Exempt, subject to all applicable state and federal laws.

Work Environment

This is a full-time, at-will position with variable hours, typically night shifts. Linehaul drivers benefit from consistent meet-and-turn routes, no-touch freight, and daily home time.

Physical Requirements :

Lifting and Carrying : Ability to lift, carry, and move loads that may weigh up to 50 pounds or more, often multiple times a day.

Pushing and Pulling : Capability to push and pull products, sometimes using hand trucks or pallet jacks, often up to 2500 pounds with assistance.

Standing and Walking : Frequent standing and walking around the vehicle and in and out of customer locations throughout the day.

Bending, Kneeling, and Crouching : Regular bending, kneeling, or crouching for loading, unloading, and securing cargo.

Endurance and Stamina : Ability to sit for long hours while driving and work extended shifts, sometimes up to 10-12 hours.

Adaptability to Weather Conditions : Ability to work in various weather conditions, and extreme temperatures, as well as adjust driving and loading / unloading practices to ensure safety in these environments.
