Key Responsibilities

• Assist the Physical Therapist in implementing individualized treatment plans
• Deliver therapeutic exercises, activities, and modalities to improve patient function
• Monitor patient progress and provide feedback to supervising PTs
• Document treatments accurately according to state and facility standards
• Educate patients and families on home exercise programs and recovery strategies
• Collaborate with the rehab team to maximize outcomes and support discharge planning

Requirements

• Active Maine PTA license (or eligibility to obtain)
• Associate degree from an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program
• Strong teamwork, communication, and clinical skills
• Previous rehab or clinical experience preferred
