Land Electronics business provides C4I Network computing and integrated situational awareness, as well as state-of-the-art embedded diagnostics, vehicle power management and combat vehicle integration products and services.
Electrical engineer to join the hardware team and support our growth in compute, vision, and display systems for tactical applications in ruggedized military vehicle platforms.
The ideal candidate has 5 years electrical engineering experience with strong electrical engineering fundamentals. You will participate in digital circuit design, mixed-signal interfacing, and power supply design as well as testing, integration, and documentation of finished designs. .
Responsible for driving technology and completion of activity on time and budget. Design, develop, analyze, document and support testing of products, systems, or subsystems.
Ability to complete a technical project independently. Mentor and coach other engineers.
Involved with the design, development, modification, and analysis of various electronics systems. May include Hardware, Power Engineering, Power Electronic Engineering, Electromagnetic Engineering, Integrated Circuit Engineering, Components or others.
Troubleshoot and diagnose malfunctions in existing products or systems and makes modifications as needed. Compile and evaluate design and test data.
Analyze, develop, and recommend design approaches.

Review customer specifications and requirements, and develop designs to best support them, including cost as a key design variable
Provide budget, cost, and schedule input for design assignments

Analyze designs as necessary
Specify and evaluate supplier components, subsystems, and services
Support the program design to cost and design for manufacture requirements
Develop prototypes to retire key development risks

Experience with low to medium power switch mode power supply design a plus
Experience with Cadence Schematic Capture and familiarity with Allegro PCB Editor a plus
We are using CADENCE Allegro, we are on 17.4 and will be moving forward to later versions. For this role that would be a plus
