Salary : $150k - $160k cash compensation

San Francisco based climate philanthropic advisory startup seeks a Finance Manager to own finance and accounting and build out the budgeting, forecasting and planning function to scale with the development of the firm.

The primary focus will be on the finance side with oversight of the outsourced accounting function, and partner with the senior business leaders on their budgets throughout the year and on year-end results.

The current focus is on building a 5-year strategic plan. This is a newly created role that will report into the Managing Director over Finance, Operations & People, and work onsite 3 days a week in San Francisco.

Requirements :

  • 6+ years finance experience in a growth for-profit company, with experience building out the finance function of a scaling firm.
  • Familiarity with general accounting and experience working with outsourced providers of accounting and / or other services is a plus.
  • Advanced Excel user with the ability to produce dynamic financial models.
  • Expert knowledge of financial statement analysis and finance concepts.
  • Experience assessing, implementing, and managing financial systems and policies.
  • Experience with a variety with financial systems including QuickBooks Online, Adaptive Insights, Bill, Intacct, and Expensify.
